May 11 to 12 - Mother and Adult Daughter Overnight Retreat

“May your mother be glad; may she who gave you birth rejoice!”
(Proverbs 23) 

“Her children arise and call her blessed!”(Proverbs 31)

During this retreat we will reflect on mother-daughter relationships in both the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures.  Focus will be placed on the love a mother has for her  children and the honor and love of children for their mothers.  Some examples are Hagar, Hannah, Moses’ mother, Naomi, the widow of Nain and with special emphasis on Mary, the mother of Jesus.  The  relationships of the women  gathered at this retreat will be  celebrated.
