Poetry: A Spiritual Tool for Transformation
Poetry is a wonderful way to hear the inner voice of God through words and images. Poets open our hearts and souls to a greater awareness of being in communion and grace with our reality. Using the poetry of Mary Oliver, David Whyte, Denise Levertov and others, Sister Mary Ellen Curtin, CSJ, will help us to open ourselves to a deeper awareness of the sacred in our lives. Bring a journal and a favorite poem.
Friday evening 6:00 (dinner) to Sunday morning.

Learn how to “seek and find”, to see with new eyes and find new depths in the common and uncommon around us.
No experience necessary. Bring a camera of any kind. |

Sacred Morning for Moms
Join us on the first Thursday of each month (September through June) for an informal gathering of moms! Share humor, ideas, and enjoy support as we embrace the sacred role of motherhood. Each gathering will offer a topic for discussion and sharing over coffee and tea.
The retreat facilitator will be Susan Major
Each retreat opens at 9:30 and closes by 11:00 a.m.

Becoming Acquainted With Mystics
Come for a walk with six well known mystics who will speak to your heart. Their writings and prayer life may lead you to a greater depth in your own spiritual journey. During these six weeks we will be visited by Saints Francis, Clare, Bonaventure, Angela of Foligno, Meister Eckert and Julian of Norwich. There will be something for everyone in these weeks of conversation with these spiritual guides.
Sessions will be presented by Sr. Kathleen Osbelt, OSF, founder of Francis House, spiritual director and retreat leader.
A six week Series on April 29, May 6, 13, 20, 27, June 3.

• Dinner at 5:30 and presentation at 7:00, $30 per session or $150 for series
• Presentation only: $15 per session or $75 for series . |

A Day of My Own
Do you ever wish you could escape and have“A DAY OF MY OWN”? Now you can! On the third Thursday of each month we offer you the opportunity to come to Stella Mary Retreat Center and enjoy time to rest, pray, walk, be nourished in body and spirit in any way that fits your needs.
Arrival time is anytime after 9:00 a.m., you can come and leave at your convenience. Offered September - June.

Weekend for Moms “Reclaiming Our Spiritual Compass”
Join us for this special retreat for moms at all stages of life as we explore and celebrate the sacred gift of motherhood! Through stories, laughter, reflection, rest, prayer and inspiration from God, participants will have the opportunity to gain strength for the great journey ahead.
The weekend will be facilitated by Susan Major.
Attendance Choices:
Arrive Friday (6:00 dinner) and stay till Saturday (4:00 pm) Offering $100;
Arrive Friday (6:00 dinner) and stay until Sunday (11:00 am) Offering $150;
Come for the day on Saturday (9:00 am-4:00 pm) Offering $40
