March 2 to 3 - 24 Hour Retreat
Spiritual Renewal Center
Just 24 hours at beautiful Stella Maris to spend some quality Lenten time with Jesus!  The Spiritual Renewal Center offers this retreat from 7:00 pm on  Friday, to 7:00 pm on Saturday.  The retreat includes three  presentations by the Renewal Center staff, Eucharistic Liturgy, time for silence and personal prayer, and an optional opportunity to meet privately with a spiritual director.  The offering is $115 and includes your private guest room, all meals and the retreat program.

March 9 to 11 - Praying Our Experiences
“Pray always.”  How many times have you heard this?  Praying our experiences is a very effective way of praying always.  You may be  surprised to find that you already experienced this but have never named nor claimed it.  Enter into the wisdom of Joseph Schmidt, FSC, to understand the rich  possibility of this form of prayer.  Join us at Stella Maris Retreat and Renewal Center for a weekend  retreat of prayer, reflecting and journaling.Facilitated by Sister Concetta Fabo, OSF.
The Offering is $160 and includes the book, lodging and meals.  Registration deadline Friday, February 29, 2012.

March 16 to 18 - Putting Gospels into Action
Our concentration this weekend will be on the Gospels but we start out with some readings from the Epistles.  We will consider some of our modes of resistance to hearing the Gospel message then see how God responds with divine graciousness and abundance of new life for us. We will intersperse these reflections with a few examples of how St. Francis lived the gospels and spent his life modeling Christ in humble service and in relationship with a loving God.

March 15th St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Celebration
Help us celebrate this special “wearing of the green” Feast!  Join us for an authentic Irish meal prepared by our Chef Brian Renk!  It’s sure to be a night filled with good food, friends and entertainment provided by professional harpist Gail Lyons! Dinner served at 6:00 pm, followed by entertainment.  Offering:  $25.00 per person.

March 6, 13, 20 Women of the Bible Series
You are invited to this four week series to learn more about women in the New Testament.  We will look at Mary, Elizabeth and Anna in the Gospels of Matthew, Luke and John. The faith, fidelity and strength of these women have a very powerful message for both men and women today. You are invited to join us, if you choose, at 9:00 a.m for our Eucharistic Celebration, move on to our small dining room at 9:45 for coffee and  pastry, attend the presentation at 10:00 and conclude with lunch at 12:00.  This series will be presented by Sister Concetta Fabo, OSF.  The offering is $15 per session.

March 4, 11, 18 St. Clare’s Letters to Agnes
In her letters to Agnes, Clare reveals how to become a person of prayer and of joy along with the spiritual benefits of living a simple lifestyle. Begin Lent with Sunday afternoons set aside for learning about Clare and Agnes and for exploring how these spiritual letters of encouragement can be applied today.  Presented by Sister Pat Larkin; program will be from 3 to 4:00 pm; Offering $20 for the entire series.
